that's because i did not say "GO RION" this time! see how every time i say "GO XXX SKATER" they bomb? i'm sure my bad luck has cursed so many skaters i did not cheer on any of my favorites before their skates today and they did well and the only one i cheered for (Christy) had 2 bad falls, it's all my fault!

I‘m feeling bad for wanting to have a Russian on top again after they‘ve already dominated all the other JGP stages. It would be a nice change, of course but... the only one I‘d be content with if she was first over Nastya would be Haein. She is just so wonderful, I still can‘t get over her skate today. :luv17: Makes me regret that I didn‘t look more closely at the JGP Linz. I wanted to get her autograph but couldn‘t find her...

Ah. Just realised that, now that we have reached Kristina, we are at a point where I am more familiar with everybody that is left to go, apart from the last girl.

Very low for her. But, I suppose 2 falls don't help your chances.

Really looking forward to seeing Selma again. She was brilliant last week!

Selma's skate is so fun! What a wonderful performance. Too bad about the jumps, but hopefully she'll get there.

Because it‘s Thursday and people need to work. But JGP events are usually not very well attented anyway. Maybe the factor that they‘re mostly in European countries where skating isn‘t too popular (Austria, Slovenia etc.) and also that JGP probably attract even less attention than senior events. They‘d need to advertise them more. In Linz nobody I talked to even knew that a skating competition was held there! Nothing on TV, nothing on the radio, not even some posters in the street. How should people who don’t follow the sport know if they aren‘t told?

It's a pity that Selma had that double hands-down towards the end, because it was brilliant again up until then.

And so impressive that she is doing back-to-back competitions. She can't have got much time to prepare for this one.

The difference when it's held in Japan tho. I was watching Cha Junhwan's programs at Yokohama JGP in 2016 and the crowd wow the venue was full and the crowd was cheering like crazy.

Timing is bad and there is zero promotion.

I understand figure skating is maybe not huge in these country but ISU or the host pick usually does nothing to even inform you that there is an event in your city.
