As a late starter to the Junior GP Series this season, this was the first time I had seen these 2 Russian girls. And of the two SP's, I personally preferred Nastya's.

I know she hasn't been working with him for long, but I wonder if it's the Plushenko influence...

Anna's leading, but there's not much between their scores.

Should be a good battle in the FS!

yi christy leung maybe? she was good at Autumn Classic! and she gets better in every competition ( i am rooting for her)
Rion Sumiyoshi could be a threat too (if she's clean) she definitely surprised coming from7th to getting bronze a few weeks ago
since the russian girls scores aren't huge this time, they're not out of reach tbh

But, I thought she would have got a bit higher a score than she did.

What do you mean? From skaters that left Eteri before the season, she seems to be closest to her previous level but even then she's not quite there IMO..

Probably. I'm shamelessly into all of the Plushenko Academy skaters, I just love their style.

However, someone said Nastya looked super upset after her score I hope she's OK!

Yep, I hope Nastya can win, it’s definitely possible. I’ll be okay with either Russian lady on top though.

It's the choreography...it's different. Doesn't seems so busy and I didn't hear any music cuts . I liked it a lot whereas choreography from Eteri and her team is difficult for me to enjoy.

So I've seen Anna's skate already. Really, I would see her much closer to 70, when I compare it to last week skaters who were around 70 in SP.

Plushenko was my favourite Men's skater too, so I'm glad that although he isn't competing himself, he is using his expertise to help kids coming through.

However, someone said Nastya looked super upset after her score I hope she's OK!

I just wound the tape back, and I wouldn't say she was upset with the scores. She kept the same expression the whole time she was sitting there, before and after they were delivered.

I don't know much about her, but it could be that she is just one of these people that always looks serious.
