I do like the Ina Bauer and step sequence in Alina's program.
This will definitely go into first but Loena has a special place in my heart.

Alina looks fabulous and the program is really pretty. I actually don't hate the choreography, though I wish there were a few movements held longer. You can tell how much she's improved as a performer from the off-season of shows.

But the music is blarghhhhhh.

Solid skate and I don’t mind Crazy music cuts (since I love Jun’s R&J program), but for me there isn’t a cohesion to the program yet.

Alina is an amazing skater. My complaint with her is the same (small) issue as last years SP. None of the positions are held long enough for me to appreciate the wonderful stuff she's capable of.
Half second spirals and inabauers make me weep. Great skate though.

Alina Zagitova was mighty fine here (I still find her performance a bit junior-ish in presentation, but then she's 16), but that music cut is something awful... Her skating deserves better.

Hated the music cuts but it was beautifully skated. She has such a talent that this program is just a waste, IMO. It could have been enough with one less music cut! Anyway, she skated lovely. Beautiful skating skills and interpretation! Well done.
