I REALLY enjoyed the Germans. The music was ehh, but their line and smoothness were very nice, plus great Twizzles!

My thoughts exactly! They remind me a little of Hawayek/Baker- so delicate. Can't wait to see them next year.

Hmm Belinda Noonan just said she liked that the Germans team didn't fight each other during the dance. I'm sure she meant it differently, but if they're Lizzy and Darcy it should have started that way at least LOL

Wow! The german couple are showing more promise in their free dance! If they keep improving over the next 4 years, who knows, we might have another olympic gold medal for a German couple.

Lorenz / Polizoakis

Very good sync, light set of twizzles (Level 4). Circular step very traditional in nature with some open spots not in hold (Level 2). Smooth choreographic spin element and good flow through the rotational lift. Good balance point on his knees through the straight line lift. Nice positions through the combo spin (only Level 2). Diagonal step had fairly good edgework and nice balance of steps (Level 3). Nice curve lift with her away from his body, and a soft choreo lift to end the program.

A classically romantic performance to Pride and Prejudice. They had good flow and glide with a good connection between them. I think they could have more intricate holds and more speed across the ice, but a serene, uncluttered interpretation of the music.

It's really good music though. They're just not using it to its fullest.

I hope next quad they really push themselves. They really need to stop being so open. Dance holds are your friends!

I've made a fresh batch of homemade hummous, with fresh tomatoes and avocado on the side, and white chocolate chip cookies for dessert. With Earl Gray tea.

I figure if the judging is as abysmal as yesterday at least I'll be and (for the most part) nutritiously fed!

The cookies are for my soul.
