The French won the Artistic aspect of the sport, but Canada had fire and this is a sporting performance. Fire wins overall today, but tomorrow, could be another. But today's the right call based on purely performance, even though French won the FS, it was soo close!! It could go either way.

Judge panel made a difference, less Eurocentric.

Well, I'm sad about the results and heartbroken for P/C, but the two top teams gave two perfect performances. Well done to Tessa and Scott for delivering two perfect programs under pressure, it's a glorious end to a superb career. Now bring on the new quad, I smell a change in the air and it should all be good!

That shouldn't have been so close so I'm glad the final result was in V/M's favour. The French's twizzles were a bit out of sync (especially the third pass) and overall it didn't have the same magic of Europeans. But a very worthy silver medalist.

Beautiful stationary lift to open. Fantastic twizzles right on the music (Level 4). Aggressive curves through the circular step (Level 4). Fantastic somersault into the rotational lift. Wonderfully timed and good extension through the combo spin. Calm and secure step sequence (Level 4). Fantastic curve lift. And that beautiful change for the last choreo lift that uplifts the arena.

I will say that the audience has been more aroused than P/C. This will be very close since it seems as though P/C will win this on tech. The judges may make this very close in the PCS given that P/C has about a .6 lead in the technical score. *nail-biter*

There's actually been research done that silver medalists are the unahppiest. Something about losing the gold. While bronze medalists are just happy to be on the podium.

That was so impressive from V/M. After P/C's skate they had to skate perfectly and better than ever before and they rose to the occasion. That's what makes true champions.

I do think as the sum of two programs, V/M did better, though I do feel really bad for P/C since the short dance really wasn't their fault. I also feel happy for V/M though since the odds were obviously stacked against them, but they did pull through. The 3rd-8th teams no one really stepped up, it was H/D, then S/S in line if no one screwed up but H/D did.

To P/C and Sui/Han: You are still very young and have one or probably more Olympics left. Don't get caught up in this one!

Three extremely clean performances on the podium, I could not be happier! I guess Worlds 2017 really was the prophetic event, not the GPF. Looking forward to the conspiracy theories being put to rest so Tessa and Scott can go back to raising their three children.
