Music came alive and so did Mae. Wonder why she went with such sleepy music for the first half of the program to begin with. She didn't bother with unclipping her skirt this time?

Kurt seems not to be a fan either. He and Carol Lane discussed tanos during replays during the sp and again now after Loena's skate. He finds them distracting when done too often, especially with floppy or bent arms. I kind of agree, if not done nicely, arms overhead don't add anything. Well, anything other than points.

Yeah for French Team!!! Love them all.. They are the ONLY ones who bother with creativity, originality, artistic experimentation these days, that alone is worthy of a gold.

Personally, to me the first half is very boring and shouldn't even exist. It should just be the second half's style for the entire program.

Mae Beranice Meite

Good held landing on the opening 2A. A bit slow in the rotation of the 3F. Clean 3Lz+2T with no problem. Okay flying spin (Level 4), could use more speed. Edge changes are slightly labored in the circular step (Level 3). A little forward on the 3Lo. Got out the 2A+3T in the second half. Very tilted in the 3Lz (might be <), heavy fall. Got it back with another 3Lo. Fun and snappy choreo sequence. And a decent pair of spins to end the program (combo spin at Level 4, and layback spin at Level 3).

I still don't understand the program really, considering that the second half of the music feels far better suited for Meite. I wish the entire program was about her being energetic and fun because the classical music heightens her weaknesses in the body line. Either that, or just powerful music to suit her high jumps. An alright performance with some shaky landings.
