2018 Olympic Figure Skating Ladies FS

A baby Mirai and Yuna fan? !!WHaaaa i am soooo proud of her !!! you go gurl!!!!!!!

She is one of the many baby girls who get inspired by Yuna to become a figureskater, and to skate that at home is just lovely!!! Did much better than I ever expected!! Nice one!

Korea + Melancholy just go together so well! It is a national trait perhaps.

Kim Hanul...Am I crazy or was she flying across the ice and skating faster than Yuna at the same age?

I always wonder what the early competitors do when they’re finished their skate. Do they pack up and go? Stick around?

Just started watching! Did not get to watch the full skate of Hanul. I sang along with the Abba song! +GOE for the Abba song!

Awwww CBC's commentators mentioning Elena R :sad4: My queen would have made this competition more entertaining

I really like Hanul Kim. As the commentators mentioned, it isn't much of a program. But, she has nice skating skills and nice flow. I remember seeing her on the junior grand prix and I liked her so much more than Young You. I don't really understand the hype behind Young You in Korea. But, Hanul Kim is lovely.

Kim Hanul

Strong landings on the 3Lz+3T. Good 2A+3T as well. A bit of a step-out on the 3F, close to the boards (called a !, likely not on the correct edge). Nice centering on the combo spin (Level 4). Good flying part in the sit spin (Level 4). Careful but good curves in the step sequence (Level 3). Solid 3Lo right in the second half, and a strong 3Lz as well. A bit close on the 3S but godo for her to get that out with a clean landing. Spiral positions could be better in the choreo sequence, but a good 2A+2T+2Lo and a wonderful layback spin (Level 4).

Aw, and she's crying! Well, Hanul did have a fantastic performance. Very nice jumps for the most part, clean spins, and a pleasant look. Like many Korean skaters, she could still work on having better facial expression and intensity, because she really has good fundamentals, landings, and is very sweet. I hope she can build on this performance and lift South Korean skating for the future.

KIM: aww, well done for her! Just about zero emotional interest in the actual program, but now I learn she's only 15, so I give her a bit of a pass. Beautifl achievement for her! Kurt enjoying the "humility" in her approach. There was something calming about watching her, actually
