Lilbet was perfect but watching her mom react to her every step and jump is priceless. From the mid to the end, mom was trying to hold her tears...

What's with these girls tights? Only in the boot is professional. Otherwise they look like juniors.

Well, it's a tough one, but I think I might actually prefer that to the tape over the boot look some of the other skaters are sporting.

Either way, Belinda Noonan said it's to make sure the laces or hooks of the skate don't catch each other during jumps and stuff.

That happened to me once just skating forward and I almost fell on my face! I'd hate to think what would happen if it occurred during a jump!
