What I don't get about Mirai is the layout for the rest of the elements. If you add a 3A, you should at the very least have 2 2As. Otherwise there just... is no point to adding that 3A. You barely get a BV increase and it's not worth the risk. Seems like a poorly planned program...

As a side note, I agree that Dabin was pretty overscored in both segments, but can’t we look at it as a breath of fresh air from the top skaters who are always overscored?

I don't even care about the results anymore. Just everyone skate clean and let the chips fall where they may.

And how is Kostner in the final group? I hope she retires soon. She is one skater I have NEVER understood the love for. I mean, when she is 'on' she can be fun to watch. But her helicopter arms aren't enough to hold her up when all she does is land salchows and toes and stumbles out of the rest.

You certainly can have your opinon. But, Kostner is beautiful. Watch her Sochi skates or even her European short program this year. And, her skating skills are the best in the ladies field. But, people respond to different skaters. So, if you don't like her fine. I personally love the fact that she is still competing at 31.

The US behind a Korean... we need to get a competent skating program running here, people. All S. Korea has is some crappy freezing cold rinks and a crap fed that can't even manage short track properly and probably doesn't know a thing about figure skating. Yuna has basically single handedly dragged korean skating this far.

Koreans have a lot of great juniors... they’re on the rise I’m not defending Korean Federation due to their shadiness but I wouldn’t put down the skaters

Well it seems that from practice reports she does land it in practice. It's more of a mind game in competition that that she's actually unable to land it.
