As a side note, I agree that Dabin was pretty overscored in both segments, but can’t we look at it as a breath of fresh air from the top skaters who are always overscored?

Let Dabin and Hanul cherish and enjoy the overscoring.....
because it may be the only time they get overscored

Carolina is my favorite and it would be great for her to get the bronze, but if she's not completely on, then no. Katelyn has been one of my favorites these past two seasons, so I'd love to see her on the podium, but I don't have the faith. If Satoko is right on she can be quite beautiful like Carolina. And I have really been impressed by Kaori.

Explain to me, a very old person who skated long ago, why put a triple axel in your program if you barely ever land it?

It's like the quad for men - as long as she gets credit for the jump - even with a negative GOE she'll do better in points than if she did a clean double axel.

SP - she got a 5.5 for the triple axel
SP for every other lady - there wasn't a single skater that got 5 points for the double axel, most got somewhere around a 4.5 and that's with the double axel being in the bonus time.
