she only beat Evgenia at Euros by 3.68 points when she was clean and Evgenia was scratchy

if Evgenia is cleaner then Euros she wins the LP. Question is will it be enough to erase the SP deficit

Zagitova: The jumps have been better, but still impressive, wish they had a bit more height, but that snap is impressive, and of course, the 3Lz+3Lo is impressive - especially after the mistake. But this was rather tentative. The step sequence is mediocre. Hits the turns, but weak edges and again not finishing a single movement. It’s a sloppy slog to sit through. The spins are very nice - fantastic speed, good extension - but the position changes could be more fluid. I wish the transitions weren’t so haphazard - and again finished. A long held edge is often more difficult than these silly exit transitions. She should go have a talk with Alena Kostornaia, she could teach her how to finish a movement. Her movements add absolutely nothing to the music artistically - she just naively hits musical cues, but that's not what it means to interpret music.

Overall though, a nice skate she deserves to be proud of and should and will enter 1st obviously.

A small mistake, but still high quality jumps. Good save on the 3Lz+3Lo. Surprised that she didn’t get a negative GOE for first Lutz.

She looks tighter than in Team Event. I didn't even think she would have the room to even add that loop in after the second lutz.
