Wow - Great job by Evgenia! She's a champion through and through - such amazing consistency and fight. Her jumps are definitely not as easy as they used to be, but she (like Radionova) somehow gets them done. I don't like this program, but she's always invested in everything.

I'm so so glad about Kaetlyn's skate. I said all year that I wanted to see it clean and aside from the step out she finally was clean and the second half of the program finally felt like a celebration, the energy she'd been missing all year in the second half. I also thought Satoko had an incredible skate so I would have been happy whoever was 2nd and whoever was 3rd but I am so happy for Kaetlyn. She looked very vulnerable going into this between the GPF, CanNats and the team event but she did it. She held her nerve when so many faltered.

And now Zhenya!!! What a skate for her. She was so so solid. So determined. The moment there was that vulnerability I knew that she could take advantage of it, that she had the mental fortitude for it.

Evgenia! One of the most amazing skaters of the last few years and all time. I'd be very happy for her to be olympic champion. But it will be Zagitova most probably.
