So I've always been very much in Nathan's corner so this may come off as biased but I don't actually think his PCS were that overscored?? The transitions were really not there but I feel like he took his time, held attention of the music, and used his balletic strengths fully for the first time this season. In addition, there's something to be said for the real moment he created, that only-at-the-Olympics redemption feeling.
It might be easier to skate with the pressure off, but just consider how dejected he must have been yesterday and today. If it were me I wouldn't even be able to look at my skates the next day. Bravo to Nathan.

I was genuinely worried about Nathan's well-being yesterday so to hear he managed to bounce back and put on a great skate is happy news!

People are getting scared for their favorites, or the ones they think should win. That's what it is about IMO. That those skaters don't have room to make a few mistakes and all medal.

This was the case even before Chen came in with his inflated PCS, so your point doesn't stand.

I really want Uno or Boyang or both (gosh I wish 4 could get on the podium) to get on the podium! Their SPs were some of the best we've seen out of them and I know that even though no one deserves a medal inherently, I think those two really have earned a spot as a medalist.

30 points may seem a lot but even Yuzuru and especially Javier are in danger, as well.

Jeez why is Tara and Johnny SO mean to Keegan? His "posing" is definitely more artistic than a jump fest.

Because they're trying to justify him getting WAY lower scores as a fabulous artist vs a technical-but-lacking-in-artistry skater like Chen.
They think tech = artistry, when it absolutely doesn't. I love Nathan, but that score...

I just can’t with this old fashioned program because this style is unfortunately very popular and overused in figure skating.
