2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens FS

How lucky are we to have a Nathan vs Vincent showdown over the next 4 years?!

Lucky isn't the right word for me.

And they wont be able to land that many (poor) quads for many years. Even injury free.

Maybe in one or two years, on of them is already out.

He should go back to his last year layout. Obviously the Rus Fed wanted an Olympic contender and pushed for more quads but he can't do them. He should gradually build up his technical elements. All these falls are just decreasing his confidence and mentality

2 falls and a pop are alright? The bar is really low for him, huh?

Ouch!

Although you have to admit the 3Lz was beautiful though! I can see why he keeps trying for that Quad Luttz.

LOL Michal Brezina makes me chuckle I don't know why.

Johnny does a lot of Russian shows. This is a $$ game.

He trained there too and is pretty knowlegble from what I’ve seen. It might endear someone after having such personal involvement.

I think the criticism they get has far surpassed the frequency of anything annoying they do in one show. YMMV

Kolyada did what Kolyada always does. It was pretty much on par with what he normally does, so a normal day at the office for him :confused2: too bad because he really does have great technique

This young generation of Russian men are so exciting to me! Big difference in basics and style from the top skaters from the last quad.

Rough skate for Mikhail but he has time to work on it.

Mikhail's actually 23, so he'd be 27 at the next Olympics - that's old in figure skating terms.
