2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens SP

Oh Misha :luv17:

All I want for you is to slay your programs at these Olympics and then make bank doing shows and choreography

Nicely done... now I look forward you get rid of that beard for the FS.. His penultimate skate to final FINAL retirement.

Misha Ge

Clean and direct 3A to start. Nice and light 3Lz+3T into a good multidirectional camel spin, might lose a level for not having a lot of rotations in the last position. Got the landing out of the 3F immediately into a nice flying sit spin. Wonderful intention and patience throughout his footwork sequence. And a beautifully centered combo spin to finish.

I don't really care that Ge doesn't have a quad or that he doesn't have difficult transitions. He has speed, flow, expression, and a sense of gravitas throughout Ave Maria. He's a very supple skater who means what he moves. Gorgeous skating that will sadly be undermarked in this IJS system...

Nice flow and spins. Not bad lines, solid jumps. Overwrought performance, pretentious choreo. He's selling, but I'm not buying. [emoji854]

Wow, Misha. That was exquisite. I could watch that over and over.

All Dick Button can says is that he spins both directions, which is hard, and that his costume is distracting. Really? Really? :rolleye:

What do you call that thing in review where the jumps are shown per steps/rotation? They remind me of figure skating mangas of my youth
