Another rough skate... pops galore... His jump technique is really loose/awkward. I also found this much less 'fun' than the music called for. He really seemed to be thinking through the program.

And it is a workday! You can't expect people to ditch their jobs to watch figure skating.

Chefik Besseghier

Only a 3T+2T to start. And only a 2A as well, yowch. Nice breakdancing move to really bring out the hip-hop selection. Nice 3Lz, but not a lot of steps immediately preceding it. He lost quite a lot of points just on the base value, though (about 15 points or so).

I like the originality of his hip-hop-inspired movements, so I hope his choreography mark is high. I'm not sure if his expression kept up with all of the moves, but a wonderfully fresh routine. He could use more speed and deeper edges in the transitions.
