Dutch commentators feel that once again, Patrick Chan is way overscored on the second mark. They said that he's been doing the same things for quite a while now, and has been surpassed (not just with jumps, but also the skating itself, I think they meant) by Hanyu, Fernandez and Uno.
I might actually start to like the commentators...

Not in SS. In other component marks, yes. But, his SS are really unrivaled even my the beautiful Yazuru Hanyu. Hanyu's transitions are better and some of the other PCS marks too.

I've never seen a great Nina Rota-based program. I don't think his music is right for skating. Even the artistic god Daisuke Takahashi couldn't make La Strada work for me entirely =/

He landed it at Ondrej Nepela in LP and never again since.

Aren't they almost mathematically eliminated from a medal now? They certainly need help even if they win the ladies and ice dance events.
