2018 Olympic Figure Skating Team Event Day 3

But why?
I know you understand ice dance more than I do so please explain...
but what makes V/M so much better than the rest of them? maybe I'm biased but I feel like the Shibs have the same crispness to their elements and emote a heck of a lot more...

Deepness of edge, crazy performance quality, quality of the elements, better dancers by far too. It's not just clean technique.

Well he saved the second half... it all depends on whether the quads were under.... if not, he might get ~185?

He and Hugo would get along great LOL

Does Hugo similarly ask every single time: “I don’t understand how one they don’t get dizzy when they’re spin?!”

Dad. I started figure skating when I was nine. I’ve explained it about a thousands times since then.

Yuzudaughter is now nine, and she’s been skating since she was three. She’s likely explained it hundreds of times herself.

:palmf:

so much talent but not his best. 3 wishes for Mikhail after this: 1) that he pulls himself together for the individual and displays his true talent, 2) that he burns this program after this season, 3) that next year he skates to something similar to his exhibition, which he seems more into.

Some how the mistakes helped him to get relaxed, he looks so much stronger in the 2nd half and really let it go in the performance. A little late though, not sure if it will help him in the singles event.
