2018 Olympic Figure Skating Team Event Day 3

I tried. For two years I’ve tried. I like Adam, I’m proud of who is as a person and how he has handled himself.

I know everyone loves the Birds program. I do not.:slink:

But he has presence and he sells it and he grew up 70 miles from where I live, so I’m proud for the NE Pennsylvania Olympian:clap:

Adam Rippon

Starting off with the 2A, instead of the 4Lz attempt. Wonderful 3Lz+3Lo and a fine second 2A, saving the tougher jumps in the back half. Solid flying spin to follow. Completed 3A+2T+2Lo, safe and secure, and a clean second 2A as well. Spread eagle right after the 3F+3T. Clean 3S. Beautiful 3Lz. Gorgeous pair of spins, especially the layback spin with such speed and clarity.

Thrilled to see Rippon perform at his best right after the strong skates from Kolyada and Matteo. It wasn't as difficult without the 4Lz attempt, but his choreography and intention in his movement is commanding. I hope this opens him up to try the 4Lz in the individual event now that he has his Olympic clean skate. Should go into first place so far to me.

Ridiculous... that was SO MUCH BETTER THAN KALYADA BSBSBSBSBS!!!!!!!!!!
