Thanks dude, ha i just found the Olympic Channel on youtube also broadcast it live. I love Robin's even handed commentary though. Patrick's jumps are massive. he deserve the win today.

The problem i had with Kolyada is when he is on, he absolutely deserve his pcs, but he often get them despite it.

When you have Adam like Jason sacrifised quad and worked/bank on a performance with good PCS, and delivered, he deserve to get higher PCS at Kolyda with half a program. Consider Jason get 90s regularly, I'd have Adam at least 90 for skated a relatively clean performance sans quad at the Olympics.

I think Kolyada's PCS should be lower in every mark than Adam other than SS. Additionally, Adam frequently gets higher PCS than this.

This. Adam's PCS at Skate America was 88.50 with an underrotated fall on 4lz. Kolyada should hve been no higher than 84, and I'm being generous.

Did anyone else hear the announcers in the arena present the "benchmark scores" for the ladies?

115-119 very good (?)
120-129 I forgot but it's higher than very good
130-144 outstanding
145+ top scores

I wonder who comes up with these "benchmark scores", because I want to ask the person why 115-119 is considered very good these days...

I heard similar bench marks explained before, pre or around 2010, but they were for Mens. Yup, 140 was reserved for the top, better than outstanding Men then.

There was a time you could buy a loaf of bread for 10 cents.
