That is true...you don't have to agree with Zagitova's PCS scores but it shouldn't come as a shock that she has one of the highest PCS scores considering last season.

I don't think that Bradie would have been behind Caro. At Skate America her long program score was 137. The same as Mirai. Likely, she could have gotten slightly higher here because her PCS did go up a bit in her SP the same would like happen in her long. But, I am happy Mirai did so well. I just wish the dance teams were switched out. Obviously, that is the discipline with the most depth in the United States.

I'm still bitter about Pechalat/Bourzat in 2014.
They should have won worlds, not Cappellini/Lanotte.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get over how badly P/B were screwed over by the ISU...

I'm so sorry for that fall for Chris Reed. I've really enjoyed Muramoto/Reed this season and have been happy to see them do well.

Hard to argue with success.

I can argue with the odd decision-making. Still doesn't make sense to me. They couldn't have foreseen how Mirai would perform here. Even her biggest fans weren't predicting she'd be second place. It's great that she was, though.

Not at this stage. I imagine they could just go on the ice and do nothing and still get the six points though.

I have mixed feelings about Alina and her program. On one hand, she is brilliant with the structure of the program and using the scoring system against itself. On the other hand, I agree completely with what Ashley tweeted:

"Ok. I respect the competitive approach. But no cannot do this set up. It's not a program. She killed time in the beginning and then just jumped the second half. It's not a performance. I understand that this is what the system allows but it's not all figure skating is about"

When U do NOT do sush another level of figure skating - it's more simply talking than hard working for 8-12 hrs in day! Eteri's girls Normal working day, if Ashley & U didn't know that!

I like that lift, though it didn't exactly fit with the feeling of the program quite as well as it could have for me. Not sure why exactly.
