You know, Konstantinova's programs have nice music. And I couldn't find the part of the Karenina soundtrack she's using anywhere, so I ended up rewatching her FS about a bajillion times.
Sadly, it didn't change my mind. But good luck to her anyway.

Did it change recently on the rules cause I remembered at 2016 junior worlds when Polina T. WD before the start of the SP and Alisa Fedichinka WD before the FP (After being 1st in the SP) and Maria Sotskova had to get silver or better to keep 3 spots.

if withdraw before SP, counts as not entered
if withdraw before FP, 16pts if wasn't top 10 in SP, counts as not entered if top 10 in SP

so in that case, Polina and Alisa both count as not entered, so Maria is the only skater and therefore must place 1 or 2 to get 3 spots
