Skating is art too, just like music or film. If a film can tell this story, why can't a skating program?
A jump routine can never do justice to the memory of the victims. It's simply not possible to capture the monumentality of the tragedy of such a thing in a sport.
And for the record, I regard Schindler's List as obscene - that shower scene is one of the most disgusting scenes in the history of cinema. Imagine exploiting the collective memory of gassed victims for voyeuristic suspense and emotional manipulation as Spielberg did.
