Skating is art too, just like music or film. If a film can tell this story, why can't a skating program?

A jump routine can never do justice to the memory of the victims. It's simply not possible to capture the monumentality of the tragedy of such a thing in a sport.

And for the record, I regard Schindler's List as obscene - that shower scene is one of the most disgusting scenes in the history of cinema. Imagine exploiting the collective memory of gassed victims for voyeuristic suspense and emotional manipulation as Spielberg did.

I really like Bradie's step sequence to the chiming clock. It really makes good use of the music for dramatic appeal.

I wonder. Many of Bradie's landings look very borderline if not UR to me. But they also might be the type that the panel would let go.

She can work on exits of the jumps to get better GOE and not to get UR.

Nicole's impressed me this season. I never took much notice of her before but the hard work, and all the competition's, she's done shows.

And if she wants to skate to music related to a dark point in her country's history I'm sure it's because it means something to her and that's fine.

Now go Bradie. I hate this program but, like Nicole, she picked it because she likes it so I hope she does what she can with it. Please, someone help her find a more mature style for next season though.
