A very laboured skate from Mirai... you could see her getting ready for each element, take a breath. That was one element at a time rather than a program. Bradie was better components wise and overall. However kudos for a clean skate. No 3 axel though...

Yeah ... I generally find Mirai much closer to my heart but I agree with you here.

Hope it's enough. I hate rooting for anyone to make it via other's failing so I don't want the US women to create that situation. No matter how it all totals up in the end, they had respectable skates and nothing to be ashamed of.

I know there's a lot of pressure to keep 3 spots but judging by the way the 3rd US lady skated is, there really a need for a 3rd spot? It's not like there are a lot of promising juniors coming up either unlike Russia...

Honestly both Bradie and Miria has mediocre skates, but Mirai definitely seemed more labored then Bradie. If all of the next girls bring it, three spots are gone right?

I thought the program was more detailed than in the past competitions this season. Telegraphed or not, I was finally happy with her improvement in trying to sell her program, and not just the jumps.:agree:

When they call the element for review it blocks the GOE box and you see a gray colour with the value 0.0.
