2018 Worlds Ladies FS

This will be Canada's first Ladies Worlds Gold medal since Karen Magnussen in 1973! This is also Japan's first double podium since 2007 with Miki Ando and Mao Asada! Congratulations to everyone!!

I was trying to remember when Karen won. I knew it was here but I thought it was '72 but that didn't make sense. That was Peggy.

I'm still in awe... Waking up at ungodly hour and losing sleep to a wild ride called Ladies Figure Skating World Championship...

I was relieved to see Caro's smile, even until the end she had grace and dignity.

Heartbroken for Alina.

Happy to see my fave Satton on podium although that wasn't a satisfying skate, so I'm not as happy as I thought I would be.

Happy for Wakaba's silver! She really deserves that.

I still think Caro should have got the third place. :( Her skate was bad but her short was excelent and Satoko's jumps were weak.

Nah. Caro's been lifted by judges far too many times. For once, I'm glad that judges, didn't/couldn't prop her up after a disastrous skate.

Worlds

Congrats to Bradie, 4th in the FS 6th overall.
She has a lot of experience under her belt now. Look forward to seeing her next season. Hopefully with better music.

Goodbye 3 spots for the US.:shame:

You wanna know how i know Italy is getting an Ice Dance medal? :sarcasm:

Already feeling sad for Weaver and Poje :console:

Hopefully C\L earn it!

So happy that they're finally giving out some decent size medals, the old one was sooo tiny :yahoo:

I´m happy for Osmond. That was a great surprise.

Sad about Zagitova, but she is young and it can happen the best. She is already a olympic winner. I´m most sad about Kostner, which practially had the gold medal in reach, but ended up with no medal at her homeplace! That is so sad!

Where are all those idiot "fans" of Wakaba saying sending her to Worlds was a mistake because they wanted to protect her from the pressure??

With the combination of her programs, Osmond definitely earned it.

But I can't help but think that this was one of those "failed the least" victories rather than "succeeded the most"...

I think your auto correct just killed you.. Satton?

I'm heartbroken...

But if this means that Russia sweeps the ladies podium next year, then I can deal with this right now.
