Whatever, I can still take Satoko's Bronze. She has a great feel for the music. I just don't connect to her this season. Wish she got a little bit better programs but she held up for the whole cycle.

I'm kind of glad US only has 2 spots. I was starting to feel the US team had started to get a bit complacent for my liking. I wish the same could happen with Canadian team, but with no change in standing. How Larkyn managed to get in, and how Alaine managed to simply fall apart like she did when the third spot was offered to her on a silver platter, is just amazing to me.

Such a crazy event. Never would I have imagined Alina falling 3x. I hope she can take this as a learning experience. She still has the OGM, and sometimes things fly to pieces and you get back up and move on.

It's been a pretty underwhelming and messy competition overall so far, with the exception of Savchenko/Massot. I'm all the more impressed with them after this today.

And also can we talk about Mirai??? She is so much more than her 3A. Even though she came in 10th, I feel like her skating as a whole has improved so much and I'm so proud of her.
Absolutely heartbroken for Zagitova. I'm not a fan, but I really feel for her right now. When you do a backloaded program there is simply no way to recover when something goes wrong. I hope she takes this summer to recover and come back strong

This is EXACTLY what the US needed. A cold slap to wake them up from this slump of mediocracy. If Mirai and Bradie had fully rotated their jumps we'd have 3 spots. However, when you add Mariah's finish to the mix, she really added nothing and at this point, 2 spots are all we need.
