Barquero/Maestu - I'm so pleased that there's a promising Spanish pair that I made a point of running back to see them. Seeing skating grow in a smaller federation is always fun. Who would have though of Spain as a country would embrace the sport they way they have? They're building a team with every discipline and that's great to see. And thanks to Javi, Spain even have an Olympic medal now, which will only help raise interest.
Kim/Kam - I missed them. He was another skater without his skates, right? It seems it went poorly. These two need something different but I'm not sure what.
Astakhova/Rogonov - I keep forgetting about this pair and it's not because they're dull but just because they get lost a bit by comparison to S/K :sad21: and The Candyman and his Bumblebee Lady. I missed 90% of their skate but what I did see was solid, just what I'd expect from them. This is another pair, like D/B, that I might have to go back and find a video of.
My adorable stars Peng/Jin - I ran back to watch them. I don't even care if they consistently land jumps and stuff - they're fun and they're lovable and they have attitude and I enjoy what they do. That short, light hair suits her! Love this program for them, btw. And into the lead! Yes!
