2019 Four Continents Men's Short Program

Hmm so I missed a fun performance while I was getting breakfast

He just got the SP minimum for Worlds. I believe he had the FS already, so hopefully we see him there.

I  Donovan. No, he doesn’t have “the” jumps. The spins can be wonky.

But I have seen that smile live and it radiates just as much in the rink as it does on camera.

How I wish he had the support to develop!

Micah gets such huge height on his jumps, they just go straight up into the rafters! Boy, get that 3A done, you got room for a 4A in that airtime.

I wish Javi could see him once and just take him under his wing. Charisma like that is rare.

Who is that in the K/C with Micah Tang? He looks familiar - and I feel like I'm going to smh when you tell me.

The height on that 2A was so ridiculous I was shocked when he checked the rotation and didn't go for a 3A. Or heck, a 4A. That was huge.

I know! Javi wants to coach. This is a perfect chance for him to learn how to coach while speaking his native language. This is priceless for both of them. No Spain and Mexico are not the same, but Donovan and Javi could communicate better than with 90+% of the figure skating world. I think Donovan's current coach should be kept in the picture, for what he has done for Donovan, and as a choreographer, and so he can take back his knowledge to Mexico, but I would love to see Donovan with Javi. It is so perfect how has it not happened!

Sihyeong's skating is totally at odds with the music's rhythm and energy. The clash is giving me anxiety.

That they’re both have ability to light up the ice with just their personalities! So many coaches waste that talent by trying to make them more traditional. I believe Javi would realize his gift and help him shine.
