2019 Junior Worlds Ladies Short Program

Well done, Ting! The landing of that 3Lz had me worried for a second but she pulled through. And even a level 4 step sequence. Great!

Good job Ting! She was weirdly wobbly in a few places, seems like too much adrenaline, but she kept it together. A good confidence boost for her going into the free.

I wonder if Kosternaia pulling out put a lot of unexpected pressure on the other top skaters. Probably everyone took a Russian super junior sweep for granted, and then with Kosternaia suddenly making room for someone else to have a stronger chance at the podium, all the other top ten skaters kind of panicked? I can kind of see it being easier to really fight and do your best when you know you have a chance for the podium, but don't really think there will be room, versus there all of a sudden being a real possibility that you and ten other girls are now having to scramble for.
They are girls and most of them are 15 and 16. It's a dificult time for girls.

I notice she has a few weird bobbles sometimes in her programs almost like she's thinking to much.

Oh my, Ting is so elegant. Cactus tendencies aside, it'll be great when she goes senior. American ladies' skating needs a real kick in the pants right now, and Alysa isn't ready to rumble until '22.

Beautiful skate from Ting Cui! Love this girl and her heart felt skating.

So there is a worse cover of Puttin' On The Ritz than the one Artur is using

This cover is awful, ugh. sounds like something a 7-year-old would skate too. strait from kidz bop hell.
