2019 US Nationals Senior Ladies SP

High score for that iffy combo, but actually an overall good skate for Mariah. I love that program, and she's definitely still in striking distance of podium and that gold, too.

Despite the mistakes Hannah is enjoying skating at home.

Hannah Miller
red dress with black hem and black gloves
very dramatic tango, choreographed herself apparently

spin
3T-3something, bit two footed on the second but lots of high and distance on the first
spin
3something, sort of fall, not sure if it'll count as fall or not
2A, nice and powerful
StSeq
spin

Some tech errors, but she looks happier and more confident than I've seen her in a reeeeeally long time. The choreography is good, actually, very musical, and she's obviously really happy working with her own movement creation, which is nice to see.

52.75, 8th place. ouch

Overall good skate from Mariah- she has got to figure the 3-3 out though

Based on Mariah’s score, I think the judges will absolutely try to put Bradie in the lead over Alysa. Possibly Ting as well, but only if she skates clean.

As usual, everyone is getting a pass, which is normal for nationals. So people can stop complaining about Alysa and the soon complaints about Bradie. Please and thank you!

Mariah has made great strides in the past year. That said, a legit case could be made for a downgrade on that combo.

I do not think I have ever heard two announcers pronounce Ting Cui's name the same way. I have no idea whatsoever is the correct way.
