Anyone catch what happened? I want to say both connected lifts got called as a curve lift, and I'm guessing the first wasn't supposed to.

Madi is electric. I never would have expected it but everything about this program works for me. Though I guess that one lift doesn't work for the technical caller? I wish Tanith was here to explain.

I really liked that dance for peace! Not sure about the Elvis. But she's magical.

Circular steps and into
Twizzles - Montreal works its Twizzle Magic. Not so crazy about the hand on top of the head but still... Level 4 for both, 2.69 goe
Tempo Change.
SL Lift - Frankly they have the best lifts in the business. Super cute set up for it and a wonderful quirky position. Level 4, 1.27 goe
NT St Seq - MUCH improved. Level 3 for both, 2.66 goe
Diag St Seq - This too is much better. Level 4, 2.90 goe
Curve Lift --> Curve Lift Leap entrance. Serpentine pattern. First rate. Level 2 and level 4 for both; goe not posted.
Dance Spin - They cleaned up the entrance since 4CC. Good. Level 4, 1.50 goe
Finally! A tempo change!
Chor Lift - it's better than most couples "real" lifts 2.66 goe
Chor Char St Seq - now this is fun. 3.32 goe
Chor Slide - this is ok, not the best of the Chor Slides. 3.11 goe
And into end position.


I'm sticking to my guns on this. Fever is at least 45 seconds to 1 minute too long. They should cut it before the longggggg instrumental break. Something to think about if they keep the program for next year.

They're back with a vengeance.

I really enjoyed that! I haven't been the biggest fan of this team in the past, but this program has really brought me around. In particular, I feel that Evan has made huge strides in his performance abilities - He is basically at Madison's level in this program, which is a big compliment to him! Unlike the previous team, C/B have excellent lifts with great flow and movement.

I wish Piper did her braid on the other side. The braid is so pretty but it covers up her stunning dress sometimes.

It is interesting that lifts are now being scrutinized following 4CC...
