2019 World Championships Ladies Free Skate

Let's define the aunt/uncles age. I'd say the cutoff should be either 25 or 26.

SBS man says Dasa does her own choreography and that of younger skaters, that's pretty neat!

Dasa Grm (SLO)

Tech:

- Careful into the 3Lz, might be double-footed
- Only a 2F+2T combo
- Better 3F, good landing
- Good 3T+1Eu+2S
- Fine center on combo spin, average speed (Lvl 4)
- Hand-down on 2A
- Popped 1A+2T
- Good 3T
- A little reaching for the combo spin
- Fine choreo sequence
- A bit rough on the steps in the step sequence (Lvl 3)
- Wobbly going into final spin, slow in rotation (Lvl 4)

Pres:

- Nice twizzling to open the program, not sure that this skate really needs the vocals. I feel like the softer skating brought out more of her sensitivity and grace. An alright technical performance; she can get good ride-out when she's on.

FS Score: 103.58, TES 50.83, PCS 52.75
Total Score: 161.16 (currently 5th)

11 Dasa GRM (SLO)

I have different cutoffs (since the ladies tend to retire faster), 25 or up for aunts, 27 or up for uncles.

 at the typo!

But, having seen that, I am now trying to think of skaters who have their parents doing their choreographing. And I know there are probably some pretty obvious ones, but I can't think of any off hand.

We see it happen quite often that parents coach their kids, but not so much that they choreograph their kids.

I feel like Mama Majarov choreographs for one or both of her kids, but I may be wrong.
