I do hope Allison gets her citizenship so she and Saulius can get to the Olympics. Is there any word on how likely it is to come through in time?

Alas, it was not to be for Allison and Saulius. They were 4th in the FS.

But, they can still say that they won the Short, and won the silver overall.

That said, for the Top 9, all the mistakes I made were just cases of getting 2 consecutive partnerships the wrong way around. So, I'm happy enough with my performance.

The protocols are up. Allison & Saulius got level basic on the Curved Lift and mixed -4, -3 on the GOE Net 0.5 for the element, so this was a huge hit. That's a loss of at least 6 points right there.

And in 10th and now qualified for Worlds with the FD TES minimum were Aurelija Ippolito and Luke Russell of Latvia! They looked so happy in the K&C. I love the music and languid choreography of their Free Dance. They deserve it!
