2021 JGP France II: Women's Free Skate

Right? I actually LOVED that music! What's bad about it? Sarabende could be totally voidy and exciting especially if a Russian pair used it!!! Trying to think of an American pair who could do "voidy", not Kneirm-Whatever, Cain-LeDuc? I could see that!
with the original piece? nothing it's beautiful, with the techno version? everything

I would be very happy with a little more kindness in comments towards skaters appearances and music choices. These are very young women and might think they are being made fun of or belittled with their choices in dresses or music. You never know who might be on this forum and possibly reading about herself.

Anna Deniz has good quality spins - she is so supple, and her I-spin and Biellmann were lovely. Jump technique needs a little work, but she went for every element without hesitation. Room for improvement, and definitely the potential to improve with more experience.

A really energetic start for Lili, lots of power and speed, and then the jumps didn't quite work out. Good on her for keeping it together, keeping a smile on her face, and fighting back through the second half. Very different sort of music, made me think of old video games and '80s anime, that sort of electro-synth, but I think she could sell it well if she had a better start to the skate and could keep going with the same vigour the whole way through.

Altitude, or the lack of ice time during the pandemic, or just lack of international competitive experience. Whatever it is, these girls are all doing a great job. They may not all of them have had the skates they were wanting, but they're out on the ice, performing, going for the harder elements, and doing their best to sell their programmes while executing the technical elements.
