No, not for funding. She tried for years to get Danish citizenship, but it was too hard. They thanked everyone for helping them during the effort, then switched to Canada.

Denmark would not give her citizenship for Pyeongchang, I think due to the residence requirement so they made the decision to switch. Their skating federation was quite supportive though. They train in Canada and he recently got his Canadian citizenship

Too many MJ programs this season but as always H/D's speed and power are awe-inspiring

Stil l don't know how I feel about this as some of the choreo feels frantic to me BUT it does show off their power so so well - the blues is the perfect rhythm for them

that is a fun program too by madi and zach. they are so fast and powerful. loved the lift too... but be fair and mark the twizzle mess properly
