She's from Bulgaria. I'm sure they don't exactly have an abundance of figure skating choreographers there, leave alone funding to buy foreign ones

She actually trains in the Denkova Stavinski Club (as in two time World Champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Stavinski) Denkova and Stavinski currently work on the Ice Age show with Averbuh, so she has access to world-class choreographers. And regardless of what you know about Bulgaria, we have ice and we can afford to pay for the choreography of our best skater.

Regardless of the country, I am always sad when I see a hard-working skater, with solid jumps and good potential, who is failed by her team in terms of packaging and choreography. I agree with all the posters here and with the judges that her Schiendler’s List program is a huge miss.

With UR call on both Lutz and Toe Loop, that's probably 6-7 points and Karen Chen would likely be behind both Korean skaters.

Her Lutz wasn't UR. The toe was. Liza had an uncalled Q, too and I love Liza but those PCS were too high. Her SS are really more like a 7 compared to Karen and Yelim with great SS. Haein's combo was a bit suspect too. Honestly, Yelim may deserve the 1st position.
