I had a dream last night that Anna and Sasha got tested positively so they couldn't compete and Liza stepped in and grabbed the gold.Part of me (well, all of me, really) wants to see Tuktamysheva medal, just so we can watch all hell break loose in the Ladies field
That would be a result for the ages!
I think it’s fair to expect the unexpected; I think we will see people test positive, favorites falter from lack of training, and previously unsung people have the skates of their lives.I had a dream last night that Anna and Sasha got tested positively so they couldn't compete and Liza stepped in and grabbed the gold.
Emmy Ma is now skating for Taipei? How did I miss this?
I haven't seen her for a few years, at least. But what I remember, I like.
I know she was not competitive in the US, but she had nice qualities that I liked very much. I'll look for videos of her performances here, since I'm sure she won't be featured on broadcast.Well in your defense she's not exactly a well-known skater, she placed 9th and 16th at her last 2 US nationals and switched in the 2019-2020 season to skating for Taipei and the only event she skated in last year was the Taiwanese Nationals. Smart girl she placed 9th at her last US nationals, last year she won Taiwanese nationals by almost 49 points Protocols: http://ctsu.com.tw/records/20190803TPENat2019/
As long as she can get the TES minimums she's guaranteed herself international berths to all the major competitions including the Olympics next year.
I predict that the first 15 on the list will qualify for the free program. And that those 18 who have 55-65 as their personal best will fight for the remaining 9 spots. My guess is 58.87 as the breaking point.About chance to advance to FS - SP Personal Best.

Thanks! I am so more than ready for this event to start! Still disappointed I cannot be there in real life (Helsinki 2017 was soooo good, and once again, just about all the big names are there!), but I’ll take what I can get! Good luck, everybody!Ladies SP starting order is here: http://www.isuresults.com/results/season2021/wc2021/SEG003.htm
