Oooh she's good.
me too....Okay, I thought she was better....
They made an inquiry but nothing was changed...shame, I would have put her above her teammate...me too....
i was never a fan of all-whites costumes.... sort of wedding vibes.
Competitions would take so much longer...Can you imagine if figure skaters could argue with their scores like this ?
Still waiting Piper and Paul's scores from worlds to be revised and for them to win gold...Competitions would take so much longer...
As far as I understand, inquiries are only for the difficulty score. If a gymnast feels that a connection bonus or element has not been correctly awarded, they will inquire and attempt to raise the difficulty score. Some examples will be whether or not they earned credit for dance elements/jumps (is the free leg above the head), did they put their foot down on a connection, were they in a piked position or not, how many turns did they get on a wolf turn, etc. I do agree with you on publishing scores - the ISU (oftentimes deservedly) gets a lot of pushback for scoring, but they are at least attempting to make scoring as transparent and easy to understand as possible.I wish FIG would do what the ISU does and publish each judge's score (who still remain anonymous) for artistic and execution for each competitor. It would help with transparency. Poor Jordan getting criticisms. I felt bad for the Romanians as well. I am curious to know though what types of inquiries permit a change of score and what types of inquiries do not permit a change of score in artistic gymnastics.
