What did Kolyada do to his hair?! Well, I’m gonna cheer real hard and loud for him anyways. I’m doing double duty with Great Britain. Triple if you want to count the fact that I’m sitting under a dryer right now getting the fro tamed.

He looked like this already in the summer, then temporarily back as it was, then painted his hair again.

Murav’eva is such a fantastic drama and storytelling skater. Top 3 performances were all solid, and I am really starting to like Akatyeva’s coming into her own. And, well, Tuktamysheva was clean with her huge 3A and a promise of a quad.

Zhenya is probably my favourite male Russian skater currently, so I'm very happy to see him back.

Apart from the pop, it's wonderful to see the work they've put into his spins and expression, he's matured a lot in all areas apart from just jumping.

I guess it was kind of a half-broken heart today? Gorgeous 4Lo and 3A, but the fall on the 4T and thus no combination. Not a disaster, but also most definitely not the skate he wanted or is capable of.

that 4T he is left with no combo which will cost him a lot even tho he landed his 4lo and 3A beautifully, the combo really needs to be 1st

Argh! Ignatov has the best 4Lo in the world when he lands it and he landed it, but then he has a troll fall on the 4T. Great 3A, too. I think that was a good program for him. He seems to be paying more attention to the basics than he has in the past. The same goes for Semenenko.
