As I said in another thread the ladies were incredible. Muravieva and Tuktik are both in contention to be champion of Russia/World in 4 weeks time. Under intense pressure both executed their programs. Could have gone either way the result and would have been fine. Imagine if Petrosyan was participating she would have delivered a similar score.

It's a five horse race going into the Russian/World Championship next month. Of course if Kamila lands the 4T and 3A it's game over, but she hasn't done it in competition and may not, so it's a 5 way battle, 6 if Samodelkina can put it together but I think next year is her chance.

And to think Shcherbakova and Kostornaia are retired, Trusova semi-retired, Maia out with a bad injury, Daria still struggling after last year's injury, yet still so much depth in ladies skating. Incredible.
