2022-23 Russian Local Events – Discussion

No Test Skates entries yet, but the Fed has published updated rules. The first thing I noticed was raised age limits for domestic senior comps:
15 - 2023/24
16 - 2024/25

Im really interested to see what moscow novice boys will show us. Im kinda bummed mozer team decided to not stream it on YouTube :(

Obviously im most exited to watch my baby Vadim Voronov and his brother the most.

The youngest of the competitors Kirill Zhurakhovsky is also really interesting he is barely eligible being born at the end of December 2012. At the end of last season he only had 3 triples and Polina or Dudakov or who ever else decided which competition he took part in only sent him to competition where he was by far the favorite and could win even with many mistakes. Here he couldn't medal with his last season content so im exited to see what new jumps he has learned.

Malyutin did so well! :cheer: :cheer:

I cant get over the fact that Vadim and Malyutin with their ultra-cs will be competing against some of the 9 year olds that have enrolled here lol

Kirill is adorable he doesn't have 3-3 so he cant compete with the older boys and the botched spin will hurt him but other than that he did well!

No Polina with him, I dont know who the man with him is so cant tell whether he left or no

Vadim went for the 3A-3T combo and fell :console:

Im still not sure if the Voronovs brothers moving to Lyutikov was good move, he is an amazing skating skills coach but jumps have never been his or his students strong point:shrug: Butatseva would have been a better choice in Moskvich I think
