seems like the 2 former sambo 70 rinks also have Moscow Academies of Figure Skating now attached to their name. Only cska out of the public rinks got to stay independent, kinda ridiculous.Wow, I just added the link to the starting orders for the Moscow Juniors tomorrow and then I nearly fell off my deck chair, because for a moment there I thought that all of the little Moskvich skaters had left for other groups.
But then I figured that it must be connected to that restructuring of the Moscow FS schools that was already announced in the spring. So there are no more SSHORs, but Moscow Academies of Figure Skating. Oddly enough, the other schools at least got to keep their names, only Moskvich is now "Legenda". It's the end of an era.
I hope the SPB Fed doesn't start similar shenanigans in the future...
This is a Moscow thing. Over the last 10 years, they've also combined a lot of educational institutions.I hope the SPB Fed doesn't start similar shenanigans in the future...
Augh... I don't think I can stop saying 'Moskvich' in my head, somehow 'Legenda' doesn't have the same ring to itWow, I just added the link to the starting orders for the Moscow Juniors tomorrow and then I nearly fell off my deck chair, because for a moment there I thought that all of the little Moskvich skaters had left for other groups.

An Academy, you don’t say… that’s posh. There are now academies Legend, Olympus, Chaikovskay’s Skate, Sokolniki, Medvdekovo, Dream and Crystal.Wow, I just added the link to the starting orders for the Moscow Juniors tomorrow and then I nearly fell off my deck chair, because for a moment there I thought that all of the little Moskvich skaters had left for other groups.

what were Olympus, dream and Medvedekovo prior to the change again? I feel like I need to relearn the rinks again. An Academy, you don’t say… that’s posh. There are now academies Legend, Olympus, Chaikovskay’s Skate, Sokolniki, Medvdekovo, Dream and Crystal.
Well, I assume Medvedkovo is in Medvedkovo (it’s a community in Moscow). I have no idea what other two schools were. At least we know that Butzaeva’s kids are all legendary.what were Olympus, dream and Medvedekovo prior to the change again? I feel like I need to relearn the rinks again.
So now that im looking at the starting list I know that Olympus is is Megasport Krylatskoe rink. Also seems like Efremenko has moved to that rink from Panova and snow leopards which is probably a smart decision after last season, its also a relatively new move cause the coaches at snow leopard were posting him on their ig during July.what were Olympus, dream and Medvedekovo prior to the change again? I feel like I need to relearn the rinks again.
