Semion didn't attempt any quads. I think he was doing his MS.

for Granddad Frost prizes, to be exact. This character differs from Santa Claus to a large extent, and one of these differences is that you does not need to talk with him about your behavior. To receive a prize, you need to sing a song, read a poem aloud, or, as in this case, perform two programs well. In addition, Granddad Frost appears always with a tall beautiful blonde girl.“For the prizes of Santa Claus”
If that’s not the greatest name ever for a competition, I don’t know what is.
And it doesn’t matter if you tell Santa you have been nice (most people lie to Santa anyway), you have to prove it on ice.
Granddad Frost sounds awesome too.for Granddad Frost prizes, to be exact. no, she's not a prize. This is just the eternal companion of Granddad Frost - Snegurochka (kind variant of Snow Maiden). So that their union does not look like something defiant, she is considered the granddaughter of Granddad Frost.Granddad Frost sounds awesome too.
He makes you work for your prize. Smart, that builds character and he doesn’t have to hear the kids lie about being nice. Haha
Just to be clear, the beautiful blonde girl is not one of the prizes, correct?

Question: What about the Moscow novice championships (younger age)? They're supposed to be from the 17th to 20th of January and are the qualifier for the Russian novice championships (younger age), which, granted, aren't until the 9th to 13th of March, but still. They'd have to be rescheduled at the very least, if they're also affected.I'll miss the local Moscow boys in January. One whole month without them competing.
After last year's event, personally I'm not interested in the Channel One Cup anymore, so that's not really a consolation for me.
No info about the Younger Age Novice Championships yet.Question: What about the Moscow novice championships (younger age)? such an odd thing, If no one else is having issues then did Moscow fed just put the paper work off too long? Like how has this even happened, its the novice skaters that are going to pay the price here.It boggles the mind, surely the Moscow Fed didn't learn about these changes in legislation just today, how could they not plan for this beforehand? None of the other local feds seem to have this problem.
It looks like the Moscow younger age novice championships will still go ahead as planned from January 17-20 at the Moskvich rink. It is the only competition still listed in January on the interactive calendar.I wonder what is going to happen with the novice championships?
Can't wait!!! Hope the skaters are all healthy and in good formI've added the links to the Moscow Novice (younger age) Championships in the link collection thread. In classic (local) Russian Fed ambiguity they seem to go ahead as planned despite the earlier announcement that all competitions until 25th January will have to be cancelled.
Note that in this event skaters will compete in a Short Program, Elements, and a Free Skating segment. Only the top 24 athletes after the SP will advance to the Elements section.
