And shall remain a Junior until the season after the 2026 Olympics. Sofya for Olympic gold in 2030!!!! Mao too! Also, let’s not forget that Sofia Akatieva, in theory, is still a Junior internationally speaking.
Yeah but she's her own category..Also, let’s not forget that Sofia Akatieva, in theory, is still a Junior internationally speaking.

Akatieva is eligible for 2026 Olympics. And shall remain a Junior until the season after the 2026 Olympics. Sofya for Olympic gold in 2030!!!! Mao too!
Won the gold medal at the Olympics and the world championship against Sasha, and unlike Sasha, who has already moved on, some fans can not get over it.
I can’t stop laughing. Anna ended up winning that competition in France.Wow she made a mistake... and? Other skaters have never made a mistake? What has she done for you to hate her so much?

I think you need to add another insane there as well. It was that good.Level of top performances on Russian GP ladies' short in Moscow was insane. INSANE.
One clean skate (Zinina) over 70 and three (Akatieva, Tuktamysheva, Muraviova) over 80 with triple axels and beautiful skating.
Previous stages and judging were pretty underwhelming, but this time the girls delivered BIG TIME!
All of four had visible FUN, skated with abandon, speed, poise, it was pure pleasure to watch.![]()
Watching the "normal" GP afterwards was like watching a different sport. Enjoyable but incomparable.Level of top performances on Russian GP ladies' short in Moscow was insane. INSANE.![]()
It's a little sad how easy people accepted PCS full nonsport factor dependence. And I remember times when people seriously argued about "deserved" or "undeserved" PCS in relation to SS, transitions etc., huh. Noone cares now anymore.. No wonder - what's the point anyway? Everybody knows unspoken rules and plays by them.the new seniors will not be getting higher PCS than the older senior
Maintaining an interest in ISU female skating at this point is purely about ideology. It’s a second division. Inferior product to the Russian federation’s whether competition, presentation, promotion, judging. The way Koreans are underscored makes me think there some kind of agenda against one race.Watching the "normal" GP afterwards was like watching a different sport. Enjoyable but incomparable.
Well, whenever you make lengthy statements and emphasize your non-opposition to Trusova, you seem to have hit a sore spot. Here it was probably the comment at the top of the video that you're trying to distract from, because it makes it clear that it's not about whether someone fell, but why(!) they fell. Haha.I can’t stop laughing. Anna ended up winning that competition in France.
And if we are doing comparisons, anyone want to post Trusova’s SP at last season’s world championships?
Look, I have nothing against Trusova, and as unreasonable as some of her fans are (and that isn’t Trusova’s fault in any way), she is an athlete and a half and one of the pioneers in this sport. But she has never been able to consistently put it together in competition.
And I can easily prove I have nothing against Trusova: I am as big a Liza fan as there is, and when Liza was beaten fair and square for the Olympic spot, even if it ended up being the result I didn’t like, I stood up front and center and defended Trusova. I went against my fellow Liza fans and I did so publicly and vociferously. And you’ll find not one post where I accuse the judges of corruption, or otherwise minimize Trusova’s achievement.
So when the tables are turned, I hope to get the same reaction. but usually I do not.
Anna was just better overall. It is what it is. Mentally stronger, more clutch, not a choker, rose to the big occasions and took on the big moments head on. Trusova was the champion of practice and test skates but always found a way to lose for the most part when it counted. I know the truth hurts, but the numbers don’t lie.
Trusova had the weapons on paper to compete and even win all her starts, but sports aren’t played on paper.
I see that I got suckered into this debate. My fault. We got to the point that we have turned this into a Trusova-Anna rivalry. And if you insist on calling it one, it ended up being one way traffic.
It’s a rivalry that is a figment of the imagination. Anna’s rival is the great Kamila.
Have no idea where AZ fits in since she retired before Anna hit her peak. 2 different eras.Well, whenever you make lengthy statements and emphasize your non-opposition to Trusova, you seem to have hit a sore spot. But I agree with you on one point. It's a rivalry that's a pipe dream. Only Anna's rival is not the "great Kamila", but AZ. But in the contest of chatter she should have no trouble. Haha
Conversely, a shoe is made of it. I keep reminding you here that Anna is NOT better. At least when we talk about sports and not about pseudo skating skills and pseudo art. Haha. Besides, I don't expect you to agree with me. What makes you think that? I represent my opinion. If you don't like that, go to the Fan Fest. HihiHave no idea where AZ fits in since she retired before Anna hit her peak. 2 different eras.
I’m not one whose posts contain hidden messages. If I had a problem with anyone, I would flat out say it. You are so blinded by fandom that you consider facts to be opposition. You conveniently ignore the praise I heaped on her too.
If you want an echo chamber, then go to the fan fest. Our job isn‘t to be sycophants.
Over here, you belittle Anna’s accomplishments and you will continuously be reminded that she is better than your favorite.
This is a sport, and we make sporting comparisons and rankings. Luckily, they keep scores which helps end most debates.
And there, I kept this one shorter. Can’t help it if my crazy mind runs a million miles an hour. The people reading all of it might be even crazier. Haha
We are talking about sports. Results are the only tiebreaker. That’s why they score it and rank skaters. Otherwise it’s an exhibition and there is no competition or skin in the game.Conversely, a shoe is made of it. I keep reminding you here that Anna is NOT better. I'm telling you, it's like a football game where the referee blows the whistle for a certain team and that team wins the trophy at the end. And because they won the cup, they are the best team. HahaYou are telling me the equivalent of a football club finishing in 4th place in the table, 30 points behind, yet they are somehow the real champions.
And mistakes in refereeing do happen. But when the same team beats the opponent every single time for 3 years, it’s time to stop blaming the referee.I'm telling you, it's like a football game where the referee blows the whistle for a certain team and that team wins the trophy at the end. And because they won the cup, they are the best team. Haha
