I´m not very sensitive, but i´m conservative when it comes to dresses and I would have given it a deduction for sure.

One thing this competition highlights to me, is that most skaters can’t execute their expected technical content…. BV+GOE is usually lower than BV.

I´m not very sensitive, but i´m conservative when it comes to dresses and I would have given it a deduction for sure.

I meant when the coach patted her on the butt before she started. In my world high 5's, fist bumps, even hugs are ok. Butt pats not so much. And I'm not at all conservative, but I am protective of the skaters and I don't think we need to normalize patting their butts before they skate. Ok I"ll shut up now, I'm probably way oversensitive on this subject.

Oh right, I thought you meant "butt part", because I was thinking her dress was inappropriate when she skated, but butt patting from coaches is also inappropriate. I have been thinking about that before as well. It´s not ok just because the coach is a women..

Life as a figure skating fan is very stressful. First I had to catch up with my Moskvich boys in Russia, then I had to watch my two Austrian cacti at Tayside Trophy, and now I'm finally here in Budapest. I think I won't manage any more JGP this weekend.
