2022 Junior World Championships: Women's Free Skate

Justine 😭😭😭😭😭😭
That was worst than the worse case scenario I was picturing. It is so disappointing considering she skated so much better domestically at her two local events.

Good luck to Lia 🇨🇦

Rooting for the Japanese 🇯🇵 skaters to have redemption skates. I need Japan to maximize their spots for next year. Can you imagine if they only get one spot next year with Mao moving up to Juniors next year? Surely, it should be a walk in the park to maintain their two spots? Good thing Russia is not here.

Also, good luck to Nina from Belgium 🇧🇪. If she moves up to Seniors, I can see her and Leona at Senior Worlds next year 😜

Well, I have been criticizing to send senior skater Linnea here, while there are several promising young skaters, but it was about the same scores that the the substitute girls would have been able to get if they skate clean, so it does not matter so much on scores. She may make it top 10 or may not, but with 3-3 she could have done it and she is able to do it, but she plays safe.

The kill count has a slight bump, but I still think Anna will rise another spot or . She will end no lower than 14th, which is already amazing.
I think only Lia could be a victim. The rest should clear 160 with room to spare unless there is a disaster 😜

It has been talked about raising the age limit when it is due to take effect?

I wonder why she didn't try. She is not in medal range and had little to lose.
