It's the jumps. At her JGP assignments, her jumps were UR and correctly called. They looked better here, still tiny, but she got most of them around. Great improvement !

Not entirely true. Or we would have Rino here instead of Rion.

Rion placed 2nd at Junior Nats (and Mao is obviously not age-eligible), but placed 8th at Sr Nats, below Rino and was still picked for Jr Worlds over her.

Rino was competing as senior and she got 4CC. I guess having both 4CC and JWC would have been too much. And giving the two JWC spots to two girls who competed as seniors all season would have been weird.

They don't always reward juniors who did well on junior level. They gave JWC spot to Yuna Shiraiwa who was already senior since 2 seasons. This year they gave it to Rinka who didn't skate as a junior before senior nats ( and she's the first case in which being born a few days after july 1st is a good thing). While Nana Araki and Hana Yoshida were right there.

Vivien is now just outside of the FS with 50.82. This is difficult, I want her to make to free but I don't want anybody of the rest fail either.

Not again.... at the Olympics Josefin Taljegard was the first not to qualify and at Worlds Tzu-Han Ting was the first not to qualify Vivien NEEDS to make it

Finland's rule: The best two scores will be count, the other one must be from international competion. The senior scores will be decreased by 3 points. Linnea Ceder's points are only from seniors, while there were 8! other girls aged 13-16, who has competed at juniors and had the minimum TES for JWC. That's why I think it is unfair to send her instead of the younger ones. I have nothing against her, I just don't think this rules are right. I would have sent her to senior worlds after Jenni S. has shown not to have nerves never in big competitions.
