2022 MK John Wilson Trophy Women's Short Program

How neat

The Russian women skated before (what a battle that was!)
The women in Austria just finished (what a strange competition that was)

What I want to know is:

What does MK mean?
Who is John WIlson?
A Legacy of Excellence
In 1696, King Charles II became fascinated with ice skating and requested John Wilson, a noted toolmaker of that era, make a pair of skate blades for him—and the world of ice skating has not been the same since.
The reputation of John Wilson grew, and in 1841, Queen Victoria instructed the company to make Prince Albert and her a pair of ice skates. Today, John Wilson continues to be the standard of excellence for skaters worldwide, offering an unsurpassed English elegance.

Master of Perfection
For more than 300 years, John Wilson has crafted its blades with the optimal balance between high technology and high-touch hand finishing. With an unwavering commitment to research, design and technology, John Wilson crafts its blades from the highest steel quality to create the finest figure blade available.
Every John Wilson blade is produced using laser technology for unmatched precision on the ice.

I think MK stands for Mitchell-King.

Don't be too hard on yourself, Bradie, most people don't nail their first competition after over a year away. The program itself is cool and skated well, just the trouble on two of the jump landings.

Very slow and low on energy today for Bradie.

I believe that the program can work for her if she is faster.

I'm sorry to see the falls from Bradie. I love the look of this program, and I think she was well mostly prepared but unlucky today. The determination to come back after such a long struggle with injury is very admirable. My hat is off to her.
