2022 Olympics: Men's Free Skate

Nathan earned that gold when he landed that 4Lz. Such a difficult program. I don’t like the program. But, technically, he earned the gold medal, and is the best.

Last thing to comment, the guys really need to focus on the jumps after the Euler. Single flip for Nathan after Euler is the one disappointment and a stumble after all his jumps.

CHEN Nathan (USA)

BLAST OFF!!! YOU DID IT!!!

Not gonna lie, it got a little dicey in the middle there, but all that composure he's been blessed with came at the best time! Great 4F+3T and 4F. A little shaky on the 4S but a strong 4Lz in the second half. Got stuck on the 4T+1Lo+1F combo but a clean 3A and 3Lz+3T to end the jumps, and then that signature choreography showing off his mastery of hip-hop on the ice! I don't think anyone can do that better, not even most of the ice dancers, ha! Go get your gold medal, Chen, you've earned it!

There was really no point in the judges giving Nathan 97 for components here was there...

Figure skating.... Well congrats!

WTG Nathan!! Nearly perfect, but easily good enough.

I did enjoy his step sequence. That was just fun to watch.

He also looked like he was having fun! I’m so happy that he performed so well. And had fun doing it. It’s been a long wait for him to get another shot. So well deserved.

I do love Elton John.
