Karen should feel proud of her 4th place at World championship. Because of Karen, Alysa had a chance to compete at Nebelhorn cup and claim the 3rd spot. Technically, Karen and Mariah got the first 2 Olympics spots and Alysa got the last spot (due to COVID). As a fans of Alysa, thank you to Karen.

And as fans of US skating, thank you to Karen for her beautiful old school skating and musical expression. She’s a rarity, and will be much missed when she hangs up her skates.
